Brian Bergeron is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist blending indie rock, folk/Americana, and pop influences. His career has spanned Boston, the San Francisco Bay Area, and now the Washington, D.C./Maryland/Virginia region. A versatile performer, Bergeron moves easily between intimate folk-rock originals and “dreamy, at times psychedelic” band arrangements (San Francisco Chronicle), and has a polished repertoire of 200+ cover songs for weddings and private events.
Born in Massachusetts, he studied music at Northeastern University and built a following in New England’s folk-rock scene before releasing his debut album, We’ve Got To Find An Easier Way (2009). The record’s songs appeared on NBC’s The Voice, The Young and The Restless, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and MTV’s The Real World.
After relocating to Oakland in 2009, Bergeron formed the acclaimed indie-rock band Mr. Kind, releasing four EPs over five years and performing at Bay Area venues like Bottom of the Hill and The Great American Music Hall. In 2014, he launched Ivy Hill Entertainment, an artist-run agency that has booked hundreds of events and generated over $1M for independent musicians while performing over 500 private events himself.
Following a break from music to travel, relocate, and start a family, Bergeron re-launched his career in 2024. Today, he performs across the DMV—solo or with collaborators—bringing two decades of experience, heartfelt songwriting, and harmony-rich arrangements to every show.
